Posted: Thu Jul 03, 2008 2:02 pmHello. My name is Chan. My wife Sarah and I recently bought a RES from one of our local pet stores. He was brought in when his previous owner didn't want to deal with a turtle anymore. For now we have just been calling him Buddy. It works 
Not sure on age, He is fairly good sized. Shell is 6" front to back and about 2-3" in width.
Currently he is living in a 55gal aquarium with canister filter and a Penguin Biowheel HOB. He has a tinted Plexiglass basking area with a Zoo Med 100w Mercury Vapor Bulb as his light/heat source.
Fortunately were just given a 100gal Rubbermaid stock tank. Never been used. I am planning on building a setup similar to what TheBean has.
