Just moved in with my boyfriend and his 2 Sliders!!

Hello Everyone!! I recently moved with my boyfriend to a new apartment together, and he brought along his two red eared sliders. I feel like a new mommy! I've never had turtles so I'm trying to learn all I can about them so I can help my bf take care of them. We recently purchased a bigger(and more attractive) tank for them and they seem really happy. Thanks!!

My turtles are Rock and Roll, and from what I've been reading on this site I'm pretty sure they are both boys=) They are the same age, about 3 to 4 years old, and although one is a tad bigger than the other they both have the same shape tail and long fingernails. I lectured my bf yesterday on their eating habits, all he feeds them are pellets and canned shrimp. I'm going to start trying to get them to eat some veggies and fruits today!
