Hey everyone, my name is Emily and i just got two baby RES on saturday the 2nd. I was walking around china town when my friend and I passed a woman who had a little red wagon full of turtles. I couldn't resist plus the price was great ($13 for 2). Little did I know what I was getting into! I took them to Petco to figure out how to care for them and wow, they need a lot! But I love them to death. I had no idea that baby turtles could be so ridiculous! I could watch these guys all day and not get bored.

The woman I bought them from didn't speak english very well or know anything about turtles! she told me that they don't grow and that they only need a little bit of water. Such lies!

Make sure and check the RES Basic Care (link at the top of the page) because the pet store people don't usually know what they are talking about.

GlaD TO Be A MeMBeR, :) I have a 2 yo male turtle and a baby turtle 2-3 months old, I'm interested in knowing more about them,
hugs, Albert, Donatello and Baby turtle and bunch of tropical fishes( 3 acuariums) :)
