No worries about the spelling and the typos. I'm probably the biggest offender on this forum when it comes to poor spelling and grammar.

That blue back ground makes your bare bottom tank look really nice and clean! I want to get rid of the sand I have in mine, but I think my turtle would miss digging in it.

I'm one of those here using the double dome fixture with no problems whatsoever after almost a year, they work well, but you wont be able to set it right on the mesh like that, the CFL UVB bulb sticks out slightly. I also use the lighting diffuser called "egg crate", but I cut a hole through it for in the shape of the fixutre, then used galvanized wire to create a second 2 inch mesh across the hole because I caught Jordtim trying to escape through the hole.

I also think you should think about upgrading the filtration. I have been using an FX5 for the past year on a 75 gallon tank and have had no issues at all. Actually, I haven't even needed to clean it since I set it up a year ago.
