can someone tell me how to identify a male/female turtle..i don't know... that's why i named them as Wall-E and Bolt!!

You cannot tell at that age. Maybe when it is 4" or higher, you can tell.

You probably won't be able to tell for sure until they're at least a year old, assuming they're not overfed. Some people here have enough experience that they can sex turtles at 2"-2.5", but 4" is the cut-off. If a turtle is male, he often will start showing signs of that around 3"-3.5". My turtle was confirmed male at 3".

A male turtle has long front claws and a big tail.

hw much aquarium salt shall i put? 1tbsp fr 10 gallons f water?

No salt water (if thats what you mean). RES are found in ponds and lakes.

oh..while searching some info about them on internet i found that they come from brackish water...so thought of adding some aquarium salt as it keeps away fungal growth..really confusing..anyways candid b cream really works..the younger one is completely cured...and the bigger one is recovering..hope i get the uvb light soon..hv ordered fr one...by next wk i guess i'll hv that...
