Yep, Numa is a painted turtle, his color just came in. I've been feeding him Reptomin, Hikari, and ZooMed hatchling pellets to see what he likes best. I can't tell yet what his favorite is, but I think he like lettuce more, especially if I let it float around like a boat, which he latches onto and rides around. I look forward every day to seeing the turt when I get home from work and I showed my co-workers pictures.

My 30 gallon breeder is finally set up and Numa is having a lot of fun in it right now. I have 3 anacharis plants, some small java ferns, and an amazon sword plant in there which Numa likes to grab with a claw and just hang onto when he's not basking. I currently have an XP2 in it, but there are some dead spots in the water so I am thinking about returning it to Petsmart to get an XP3 as I plan on moving up to a 50 (36x18x18) or 75 (48x18x20) at the end of the summer once he approaches 3 inches (he’s one and a half inches long right now from snout to tail). I have a potential buyer for my 30 and stand so that will help pay for the new set up. New picture tomorrow when I get off duty.
