I am the proud mom of 2 RES's and just found this site a few weeks ago.(Which by chance let me know that "Big Boi" is a girl) I have a question about the pond snails.Are the Black Japanese Trapdoor snails and Black Ramshorn snails what our kids eat? I went online to look for pond snails as I was told by a local petstore they are illegal in my state due to the Ecosystem.
