Whats up everyone, Just bought my first RES turtle..and Thought this site would be good Idea to check every once in a while for info!

I bought that basking area from petsmart...it was a closeout for $8.99 lol

You should move you're UVB light a little closer to the basking area, other than that. It looks good!

I saw that basking area when I was there.. But I ended up buying the zoo med dock.. anyways I like the setup!! pretty turtle:)...

Woah! That tank setup and everything is absolutley amazing! I'm sure Nova enjoys it.
I have two baby RES; Emerald(Emmie or Rocky for short, plus she has green ears!) and Pretty. (Don't ask me about her name. My brother named her. He's only 6 1/2.)

Your setup looks really nice. One thing you need to do is point that UVB light directly at the basking platform. Both the heat lamp and the UVB need to be shining on the basking platform.
