Greetings everyone! I just registered my account, and this is my first post. First off, I want to thank the people who run this site. The information I've found here has been so helpful in keeping my turtles happy and healthy, and I'm really glad to have found a place where I can talk all things turtle with other RES owners.

I just got my 2 RES hatchlings this past Christmas (a surprise from my parents) and they are doing wonderfully. They're very active and curious about their surroundings. I tried my best to give them a "natural" habitiat, and they love exploring the plants and climbing on the log. Right now they're basking together. :)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting other owners and reading about your experiences. See you around!
