sup people, i just got 2 babyRES's about 2 and half weeks ago and im really likin the 2 guys. they are about an inch and a half, and prolly about a year old(not sure). I did some research on them and was prewarned that RES are expensive to keep. and igotta say, they are 100% correct. in the first week, i spent around 150 bucks worth of supplies and neccessities(luckily i got my 29 gallon long tank for free from a friend). anyways, i dont regret these 2 little ones and every dollar spent was worth it. Their names are Turbo and Flash. I named them that because they both swim crazy fast. As i said earlier, their tank is 29 gallons (long), i fill the water up to about 2 and half inches from the top of the tank. im running 3 filters, 2 Whisperer filters and one one Penguin 170 hanging filter. i have various suction cup plants, and a few plants weighted down by river rocks/pebbles. its a pretty nice lookin setup, here is a pic:
