:(
We were in the process of building a pond in our courtyard, put our two RES in the temp rubbermaid container they used last summer, along with some plants - big mistake! The next day when we were working on the brick wall - we found one in the tall grass. We searched & searched for the other one, but no luck. We live about 1/2 mile from a creek - I hope it made it.

My question, I have to replace the turtle, the one remaining is about 3 inches (I bought illegal, but didn't know til we got home & started researching the care)

Anyway, Is it easier to introduce a bigger or smaller turtle?

Thanks so much for your help!

A turt of the same size is best. Just out of curiousity, why do you have to replace it?[/i]
