I became the proud owner of 2 baby RES in June. At the time they were no bigger than a quarter and were in very bad shape. Oh and we also have a hamster

Welcome! I think RES are just too cute at that size.

Currently my set up is not the best. I rescued these two little ones so I am doing the best I can. I have been unable to find a suitable aquarium. If anyone has some suggestions please let me know. Money is not the issue, availabilty of suppplies is.

A belated welcome. Some pics of your "rescues" would be nice. I love Italy. Where in the country do you live? :)

Hello, hopefully this weekend I can psot some pics of Bright Eyes and Bob. Thanks for the thought of a 10 gallon tank, but even that is probably too small. I am looking for a kiddie pool (should be able to find one relatively quick) so that they can enjoy the outside more.

You can also look into plastic storage containers for a relatively inexpensive home. As for the kiddie pool, I would only use it when they are supervised while outside.

Hi, I found rubbermaid containers...can anyone recommend what type of filter, UVB/UVA and possible sources? I would be real interestedin any info on how to use a container as a habitat....I'm a little slow whenit comes to these kind of things *sigh*

I love Sam & Nelly's rubbermaid home so you can check out their link for good ideas:
