I have just acquired a two year-old RES, Lightning, from a friend. He seems quite healthy (about 6") and is soooooo curious. He spends much of his day knocking rocks around the tank to get my attention, then stares at me very intently, evidently trying to figure me out. I am already guilty of overfeeding because his tactics are very efficient. Sigh. He LOVES tomatoes and will take pieces from my fingers. It's adorable.
I have already posted a few questions in the General Discussion area. I plan to buy a new filtration system this weekend but need some info before I can proceed.
I also play human to a hundred-pound lab/rottie cross, Limbo, who is inexplicably terrified of turtles. Go figure.
