I am a new owner of a little red eared slider. it was found at a big park and there were no other turtles in sight. we searched for a good 20 minutes. Theyre not meant to be in the wild here. It seems people have released their pet sliders and theyre reproducing. It was dry and covered in dirt. I took it home and put it in water and gave it a clean. Took it to the pet shop and they estimated it to be about 1 month old. I've got a tank and the appropriate equipment to house it coming tomorrow but in the mean time it's doing well. it's been eating hatchling pellets and a few little worms i found in the garden for it.
Soooo, after that novel (Lol) I'm new to turtles and will probably ask a lot of questions. ^_^
