My turtle's name is Bandit. I got him in February. He grew and now he's shedding and now not eating. Before shedding he used to eat everything from the Reptomin pellets mealworms and freeze dried shrimp. Now nothing. Is this normal? It seems like all he wants to do is sleep now. The water temp is 80 degrees. I have a UVB light and heat lamp even though he doesn't really like to bask because he's shy. Please help!!

From the picture, he's been growing too fast. What is his tank setup? How long has it been since he's eaten?

HI there,
I also have turtle, and if your turtle is not feeding then the reasons may be
- are you taking him daily to the sun light?
- as you said you give him canned food, or sticks,so sometimes turtle dont eat when the flavour is slightly changed so try not to change the food.
- dont let him eat when he wants, make timings for feeding him.

Dont change the water of his bucket/tub daily, even if he makes it little dirty.

try to give him some calcium , I dont know what you get there . But he will love to eat it.

thanks
