Hello all! About 2 weeks ago, we received 2 very special baby RES's. Being new to RES care, we scoured this website, other sites, and the pet store for information on how to care for these little guys. Lots of info and some financial investment later, we have what appear to be two very happy turtles. This is my first posting here and I am taking others' advice and posting pictures right off the bat. We are not sure of their age, but Rosie is approx 1.5" shell length and Turtie is about 1.25". We know they're young and we know they're gonna grow. Big. So, here are Rosie and Turtie.

Turtie (named by Mom since Son couldn't decide)



Rosie (named by daughter who someday may be disappointed to find out "she" is a "he")



Ah... The good life. That is, if you're the turtle on top.

These guys are going to sleep good tonight! Just put 6 Danios in their tank. They are micro small and crazy quick and my turts are having a blast chasing them. Might not be the top food choice but as a treat, I think they're tops! I'd post a pic but all you see is a blur.
