I'm a 16 years old girl from Hungary. When I was nearly 5 years old, there was a small petshop in our street. On my way home, I always looked in there. They had an acquarium with a lots of baby red ear sliders, and I was just sitting there watching them swimming, eating and sunbathing. I was totally amused. I really wanted one, so I got two for my 5th birthsday. (later it turned out that they are both females) I got a book too about red ear sliders, and I was reading it all the time. (it was so hard, I haven't even learned to read before
) I take care of them since then, and luckly they are very healthy, and they never had any health problems. I registred here, because I have never talked to other people about turtle keeping, and I'm intrested in that how you keep this amasing animals.I've got other pets too. Two pet rats, a black one called Rata and a husky called Szutyok Kapitány (means something like Captain Dirt). They are my two little cheeky boys. They are in trouble all the time. We also have a (really big) cat called Mufurc. Hi's 8 years old now, and also 8 kg-s.. We've got an aquarium too, with some guppis and snails. (my turtles love the snails
