Hey whats up guys. Just decided to convert one of my tanks to a turtle tank. Looking at getting 2 Rio Grande Sliders. Just started building my tank build a 12x12 basking area and lid for my 72 gallon bowfront. So been doing lots of research and really would like to put 2 turtles in there and just wondering if size is ok and also sexes to put together. Thanks

Welcome to the forum! In nearly all cases, you can't have a male with another turtle in there. You'd have better luck with females, though peaceful cohabitation is not guaranteed and they will out grow that 72 gallon quickly. In fact, 72 might not be large enough for a fully mature female.
