We have gone extensively over basic care of her little guy, and the importance of NEVER touching him since he is just a baby, and she could give him a human disease.
( while I am NOT sure if any of that is true, I do know that baby turtles can transmit salmonella, and she is more worried about her turtle catching a human disease than she is of catching one from her turtle)
While the turtle is her pet, I will be the main care giver.
and I am here to educate myself to help make sure we can keep this guy around.
