Hi, i am a mom of 4 kids, we love animals, for 4 cats, 3 hermit crabs and a bunch of fish. My 11 year old has been asking for an Eastern Painted turtle for about 6 months, we said yes, but that she has to earn the money to start up the habitat... So, we have never had a turtle, we have done a lot of reading so far on care and habitat. looking forward to getting some good real life info for care and needs of our soon to be turtle.
