Hello! I'm Aimee and very new to the turtle world thanks to a lady "giving turtles away". These two precious Red Ears were in a tank so filled with scum that we couldn't even see the little critters!

They aren't doing well, and I'm hoping a visit here will help me learn about turtles, and save these guys. (Or gals?)

Welcome to the site! Some nice clean, warm water would be a great start for them. Please fell free to ask any questions!

Welcome Aimee, as Steve said lots of warm clean water is the key. So start thinking big tank and big filter. It will save you a great deal of time and money in the long run.
