Greetings, Turtle Lovers!
I am not new here but I haven't posted in like, forever, so I figured I would just check in and update the status with Speedy and myself. I am pleased to say that Speedy is thriving this early summer...I have several outdoor enclosures she can use so as to get her UVB on, as well as some necessary exercise! I take her down to the creek with me often in a smaller tote so she can check out new things. She sure has grown...at last measurement she was almost 6", 2 more than when I got her. Her weight looks pretty healthy and her shell is great looking! One sexy turtle, YeeHaa! She has even made a somewhat tenuous friendship with my cat, and I noticed that my cat has a tendency to stay near her when I am not at home. I think it is sweet, and I will post some pics of that when I get aroud to it. Work projects have kept me too busy, but I still take the time to enjoy my turt! Hope everyone's turts ( and their owners!) are enjoying good health as well!!
