hi my names joe and i have two turtles. one is a res(flash) and the other is a black knob sawback(streaks). found this page when i was looking for some different ideas on my tank and also when i was trying to figure out what type streaks was. and i have to say that i think you all have a damn nice site. its been very helpful. and i just want to say thanks and hello. here are my two guys in the first two pics they bot just got a rub down of vita shell. thats why flash looks like hes been palying in the snow.

Hi Joe, glad you can join us! A word of advice, stop using the VitaShell. It's believed to cause shell problems (not allowing it to "breath") and most topical treatments should be cleaned off the turtle before it's placed back into water.

thanks. yea hes my little rescue. my son found him when he must of just hatched. had him scents and hes gotten healthy and bigger.

Must have been quite an adventure raising a little guy from when he first entered the world. Just be careful, he may believe he is human and want the car keys when he is 16
