, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Jeff and I have a yearling red eared slider named Franklin
who I now believe is female. I rescued her from a relative who found her as a hatchling in a pond behind their house. They had no clue how to care for a turtle, and neither did I, but since taking over responsibiliity for the turtle, she has been moved in to a 40 gallon breeder tank and grown quite a bit. I think she is very happy, thanks mostly to the information I've found on these forums. I have learned a lot these last few months and look forward to learning more! Thanks, Turtle Clerk
