Hi everyone,

Guess I'll be a new addition to this group of caring & enthusiastic RES owner.
Some brief info on myself and my turtles.

I'm from Malaysia ( I get to save up on the water heater). Just bought 2 RES turtle (2inches).
Currently trying my very best to provide them with a nice and cozy tank. Equipments and accessories for turtles are kinda expensive and difficult to find around here though.

Current setup is a 40 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. A normal fluorescent tube lighting and a MVB (ExoTerra 125W) for basking. Water temp avg at 28 deg C while basking avg at 36-38 deg C (even without MVB ON the temp is already at 32 deg C). So far no problem basking for my turtles.

Their meal menu includes Sera Raffy P pellets, canned crickets, small guppy fish and nibbling on the floating plants.

Welcome to the forum! You have a very nice looking setup for your new babies. Gravel should be removed eventually though.
