Hey, call me Scel. I'm twenty-one, a college freshman, and my major is Zoology with emphasis on herpetology. I've the proud keeper of a Florida Softshell hatchling named Antoine. Thanks to him, I'm the only student in my class other than the Ranch Management majors who can actively anticipate an industrial stock tank in their future. Right now his goal in life seems to be to worry me to death as he hasn't eaten in over a week. He's hefty and active so he's probably just in a mood but I'm about to fret myself to bits.
Excellent to be here, looking forward to getting to know you all.
Edit: Talk about bad--or maybe good--timing! Shortly after posting this thread I caught him eating. I guess this forum is good luck--now if only the powers-that-be would, say, grant me a million dollars?
