My name is Fernando, I'm from Brazil. My turtle is a Turtle Tiger Waterline very similar to american Red Ear called a Wall-e(it has a very similar behavior to that little robot). I've always been fascinated by the turtles in my childhood but could not afford to have one.
In Brazil, aquariums, filters, heaters are extremely expensive because they do not manufacture the products here are imported and taxed at 60% (export tax) + 18% of "GST" (tax movement of goods). Aquarium in general is very expensive and most people prefer dogs and cats.
Earlier this year I passed a store and saw the baby turtles (marketed in Brazil they are babies) and decided to buy one. I could not have made best decision, you know that feeling you discovered something great that should have done before.
I hope to learn a lot here and share the knowledge I have and I are getting over time.
