Once she brought him into my home I made it my mission to give him the best care possible, so I have been lurking on here since March 1st and have been learning as much as I can. He is a tiny little thing, about 1 1/2 inches, his name is Squirdino (we decided on a mixture of Squirt and Dino) and he is in a 20 Gallon Long Zilla Deluxe Aquatic Turtle Kit. I am not able to raise the water level all the way up because it is one of those tanks that has one side that is half way open for the filter.
I wanted to introduce myself and Squirdino, and also introduce my other wonderful pets. I would like to post in another section about what we have been going through with him and about our Vet visit earlier today. So I'm hoping you all will help me out and follow me to that thread when I create it and offer your suggestions. So happy to be here and looking forward to learning so much more and helping our little guy out.
Today my boyfriend and I found this amazing deal on Craigslist and jumped on it right away! This man was selling a 55 Gallon Tank, 20 Gallon Tank, 2 Rena Filstar Aquarium Filters, a basking lamp, a big log decoration, and a floating dock for only $150.00!!! It was an amazing buy, and we took it even though we will not be putting him in the 55 yet. My boyfriend will be building a cabinet in order to sit it on nicely. We are very excited!
