Hi all! I actually do not have a RES (yet) but am looking to "rescue" one at a local pet store. I put a post on the Urgent care board for some advice. I have some experience with herps and have owned lizards.... I currently have two red bellied toads! I am also a vet tech and took a herpetology course at school. My professor worked for the DEC and we did some field work with some local species in Western New York. Have been super intrigued by turtles ever since! :D

It's a lucky turtle that you'll adopt. As was said, most people adopt first, then panic b/c they don't know anything! (me)

Welcome!
