I own three red ear sliders (RES) I have one male that I know of for sure as he is about 7 years old, I got him from a friend about a month ago because they could no longer take care of him so I told my friend that I would be willing to take him on and care for him,his name was pokie when I got him from my friend now I have changed his name to Buddy.
I also have two young RES'S that are about 6 to 7 months old and I do not know the sex of them as of yet because they are just under 4" long, they are siblings and they are different sized one is bigger then the other they share the same tank and enjoy one anothers company. I bought my babies closer to the end of September and where the size of a toonie and a half(the biger one of the two) and the smaller one was the size of loonie.They are both growing well. I will post pictures of them all soon.
I and my turtles are hoping to make some new turtle friends and sharing stories with you all here on the site.
