Hello! I'm Taylor, a reptile keeper in Utah. I've been keeping snakes for going on 3 and a half years, and bearded dragons for 2 years. I've also had tortoises and a box turtle in the past.. Right now I have two snakes, a Corn snake and a San Diego Gopher Snake, and three rescued Bearded Dragons, plus the two family dogs. If I had it my way, though, I'd also have Garter snakes, a dwarf boa, a Leopard tortoise... The "wish list" goes on, lol!

My family and I recently moved into a gorgeous old rental house that has a pond in the back yard. Not that I needed any more reason to love the place... I've been getting great advice at pond forums, but the specialty at those forums is Goldfish and Koi, and, of course, I want to make it a turtle pond! So, in addition to asking advice from the turtle keepers at my favorite Tortoise forum, I've joined up here in hopes of getting more RES-specific advice.

Anyway, this is just my intro; I already posted a thread asking for advice over at the Outdoor Habitat forum (it's just waiting approval, apparently...).

It's nice to be here, and I'd like to thank you all in advance for advice and information! I look forward to being a part of this community. :)

Welcome! And as always, we look forward to pics when you get things up and going.

Thanks for the welcome, Missi! I do have pictures of the pond in my other thread, but it's still all frozen over. I'll definitely get pics when it's up and running, and when I get my turtles! :)
