I am also new to this site, i have been trying to check around for a good one for a while now, I have 2 red eared slider turtles 1 is male and the other is female, today when i was cleaning out the turtle tank i put the turtles in my bathtub(they loved it) while i was rinsing off the decors i seen some clean gel like stuff come from her i didnt see when because i was cleaning the decors but definatley does not look like and eggs because this is totally clear and felt gel like. I dont know what to do with it because i dont know what it is, my turtles are about 2 in a lahf years old and she never has had any hachlings yet and this has never happened to her before either, any info on this would be great

Did this come out of her cloaca (the opening under her tail)? Is it possible it could have been food material or even something coming off a decoration?

i cleaned everything in the tub before putting the turtles in there, what i did was pour the water from the tank into the tub and after rinsing everything it was there by her so i didnt see anything come out of her, and the tank only has solid items it there, there is a floating dock, arch rock decoration, and another bigger arch decor which is also rock, i also have some little rocks as decor also. their food is pellets and shrimp, so i dotn think it couldve been anythign from the decors, and i have never saw anything like this before, could it be false eggs? Ive had them for 2 1/2 years 1st time seeing this
