I have always loved turtles and this is gonna sound dumb but when I was very young I used to be addicted to catching them. If I was on the bridge where I grew up and see any turtles not to big usually under 3 inches I would quickly take of my shoes If I had them on that day and slightly go in from shore to catch them...I was good at it. At one point I had over 25 in a maybe at most 35gal tank. yeah stupid!!! But I was fasinated by them. As I grew older I just couldn't care for them so I had to let them go realizing they weren't happy. I had soft shells, red ear slider, cougar, mud, and the ones that killed my little canal fish the stinking musk turtles.
