Hello fellow turtle lovers! I am new to the forum!

I have three turtles:

J.E.B. Stuart: a box turtle (currently hibernating)
Margaret Thatcher: a RES
Tiberius: A painted turtle (now resides with my boyfriend)

I graduated with a major in History...

I recently moved Margaret Thatcher into a 55 gallon aquarium where she will "winter." The turtles get to summer in a large outdoor turtle pen complete with two ponds. This is my first time with a turtle in a tank so I am just trying to get the hang of it and hoping everyone will help me out with advice!

Well, my indoor set-up is kinda boring...I almost want to wait until I have more exciting stuff in it to take a photo. I have a 55 gallon tank that sits on a table, it has all the necessities, 40i whisper filter, turtledock with UVB/A and heat lamps and a water heater. I definitely need some fun things to put in there though. Right now there are two little pumpkin objects and a plastic branch thing. Margaret Thatcher has completely decimated all the plants: Anacharis and Water lettuce, so I am thinking about getting her some fake plants and maybe a rock formation. I don't have any substrate.
