Was looking for a bigger tank for my little one and ended up getting the tank + 2 more + a poo fishy.

I didn't know how to use a gravel pump. It was sad.

At this point I realized I was in over my head and googled for help. Yaaaay.

Gravity is awesome. And you guys are awesome. (Hi)

Oh boy.......

Maybe you should consider bringing back the 2 you just got. That tank looks awfully small for 3 RES.

The tank is about 30g. The previous owner couldn't take care of them anymore and sold them together, along with the tank. I can't "bring them back." I know it's not exactly ideal conditions but it's all I can afford right now. Yeah, I'm a horrible person, but for what it's worth, other than the space issue, they're pretty well off. I make sure they get what they need in terms of food and light, etc. I take them out for sun and exercise so they're not in the tank all the time. They're spoiled silly with the amount of attention we give them. They seem pretty happy and tame. We hand fed them artichoke heart yesterday. :)

You are by no means a horrible person. I suggest a big rubbermaid container. One of those big big storage ones. That would work wonders and that way they would get the space they need. And you also need to keep in mind that at one point you may have to separate them if aggression starts between any of them. Turtles can be hard work to keep happy and healthy but try your best. That's all we can ask :)
