I bought them this afternoon around 1:30pm or so. I put them in a very clean bin with extremely diluted iodine in the water to kill whatever fungus or bacteria is on them (I only put two drops in the water. It seemed to work well.). I'm using a UVA/UVB light bulb to provide them nourishment. Within an hour the fungus on them was starting to die and go away. I let them get settled for a few hours and around 5 decided to offer them food. I cut up a regular food pellet and I cut up a medicated anti-parasite pellet and put the pieces in the water. Around 7, the turtles began to pick at the pellets and within an hour they had eaten most of the food! I was absolutely amazed because I wasn't expecting them to be comfortable enough to eat. I changed the water around 9 because they had made so much progress and I wanted them to stay clean.

This one's name is Stoli.

This is Jager.

Around 8pm they discovered that they could walk up onto the shell! Jager is on the shell, Stoli is being shy.

Are the methods I am using okay? The turtles appear to be doing very well. They are adjusting much faster than I thought they would and they are starting to act normal. Is there anything else I should be doing?
