Hi RES owners! :D :D

Soon, will own three RES. I have never owned turtles before and it seems kind of hard. I read on this website that gravel is a high health risk to RES, but I wanted a second opinion. I've seen many pictures on this website of RES, and all the aquariums they were in included gravel. So now I'm starting to second guess. So please help. Is it safe to put gravel in a lagoon with three RES, especially if you have never owned them before.   :D :D :D

Hi, welcome to the forum! No, do not use gravel... perhaps you are seeing sand in some pictures?

Hi, welcome! Most of us have sand or large river rocks... you shouldn't use gravel.
