Hey all wanted to introduce myself. My name is Edward, I'm in central jersey and I've never been a turtle owner or a successfull fish owner. Found the website after googling Red ear slider turtle forum because I was worried about my RES who I just got a few days ago.

I have a lot of questions and I'm looking to become a very committed owner. I've fallen in love with my turtle and I've named him Gordon Freeman

This is him, keep in mind I'm a big guy so he probably looks very tiny but he's a about an inche and half long.

I've been washing my hands everytime I handle him and I've been keeping people away from touching him and possibly getting themselves or him sick.

Central jersey in New Brunswick in the epicenter of like 10 cities between Somerset and Middlsex county. My folks own a furniture within walking distance from Rutger's University campus :P. Which is probably not gonna last another decade due to the ever mutating Johnson&Johnson hospital lol
