Hi everyone, I'm the owner of a 5" red eared slider by default. I purchased him from a local pet store for my grand-daughter and he was quickly rejected by her mother :cry: However, I told her that if it did'nt work out that we'd take and care for him. I'm so excited :D My husband and I have been empty nesters for awhile now so it's nice to have someone to look after again. I love this website and it's been so helpful in so many ways. Thanks , and I'll be looking for all of your advise. :idea:

I have two female red ear sliders.
Chimpy - 5.5 inches
Chompy- 6.0 inches
Both were born about 7/2007
Got them -- 9/2007
