Recently got a tiny RES as a birthday gift. The little guy has really grown on me after a few weeks. Went from having no knowledge on taking care of it to making a nice cozy home for it all thanks to this place. It's name is Walter (after my favorite character on Fringe) and is a super shy turtle.

Just wanted to say a quick hello from Colorado~

Welcome to a great site. I glad you care enough to do research so your turtle will be healthy and happy. :)
I have two female red ear sliders.
Chimpy - 5.5 inches
Chompy- 6.0 inches
Both were born about 7/2007
Got them -- 9/2007
