My name's Amana. I'm from Toronto, Canada.

I recently got a red eared slider. She's five years old. I named her Peekaboo, as she loves playing hide and seek. She loves to walk up and down my legs and sleep on me with a blanket on top of us. She also loves exploring my basement. She is very friendly and active. Lets me pet her head, neck, and nose. She sometimes follows my fingers and comes to me when i look at her and call her. She's by far the best pet I ever had.

Yes she's very smart. I let her out everyday. She used to be so scared before. Her previous owners told me that she doesnt like being out. She used to hiss and open her mouth to bite. Her previous owners used to barely let her out. Now she lets me touch her head, nose, and neck. Doesntbite or hiss

I guess she's gotten used to being out and me. You just have to make them feel protected. Like you are not going to hurt it.

Peekaboo isin a 55 gallon tank....she has a basking area she loves. Just those regular ones from petstores...I put some rocks underneath...she likes moving them around and playing with it. Also used itto stand up and stick her head out of the tank.
