Hello my name is Ramona and I am a new turtle owner. I got a turtle owner by accident. Someone who had 2 RES wanted to get rid of them and I offered to take care of them. When I got the two turtles the first thing I noticed was that they both were to big to be kept in a 10 gallon tank. I never had any turtle at all but it was easy to see, that those turtles were not kept properly or got to big for the previous owner to keep them any longer. . The first thing I did was buying a 50 gallon tank and it looks as they are happy now
