Hello, i'm new to turtles and found your site by reading everything i can to learn more about them. I was given a 3 inch red eared slider who was abandoned and left alone in a dirty non filtered 10 gal tank for atleast four days when renters were evicted from a friends rental. how mean is that? thanks to your website I have learned so much. so far we have invested less than two hundred dollars in her! hahaha, well, she NEEDED an outdoor pond for warm sunny days as well as her indoor forty gallon well equipped aquarium right? we're hooked on her. :D thanks for all the information on this website.
