Update -> i finally got to take a few pictures of Mikey and found out that he is 3 years old and a male my gf asked the person who had him before us his shell is finally turning back to dark green when we received him his shell was brownish with dry spots on it we've been putting vitashell on him twice a week and checking him everyday so far he seems alot happier no biting loves swimming around and basking on his turtle ramp and his floating island
i have a question at the age of 3 how big should he be and when does he stop growing he's 5inches now hes in a 29 gallon right now he doesn't seem to mind it i know the rule for every 1 inch should be 10 gallons im trying to figure out how big of a tank i should get him so in the long run i wont have to upgrade again any help would be greatly appreciated
