after checking out this site for about a month i finally decided to join. seemed only right since i have a res. my babylove's name is dizzy sometimes call em dizmo. i've had dizzy for about a little over a month. i had no idea that i was going to get a turtle. some lady was selling turtles and puppies in front of the grocery store i work at. i saw a few of my coworkers walking in with the little turts. made me want to get one. i told my boyfriend i wanted one. didn't think he'd do it but he got me a turtle. dizzy came in the little transportation container and came with turtle pellets. i learned the hard way about the bigger is better for the tank. 2 1/2, 5 1/2, 10. we probably bought a new tank every other week
well i guess i learned the hard way about everything. dizzy's going on a diet. we're waiting on a mvb, a new filter, and a new heater. i hate having three different bulbs, our filters are temporary, and my heater doesnt have a control knob. still looking for duckweed, got a water hyacinth, and growing lilies. i really love my turtle. dizzy is my first pet. and this site has been some great help
