My name is Adam. I'm 25, a dentist, live in Las Vegas. I just purchased a small (about 4") RES about two weeks ago cause my wife likes turtles, and I decided I'd get her one.
His (?...its) name is Drippy. He's pretty neat so far, and seems like he's adjusted well.....fun to watch him (?...it) dig around in the pebbles and move his little fake plants around.
The little filter I had in his tank wasn't quite cutting it for me, so I built my own (probably overkill for the small tank he's in.....but I plan on upgrading the tank to a larger size when we move to a larger place). I won't go into too much detail....I'll save that for another thread.
Anyhow....meet Drippy:
