Hey everyone! My name is Lori and I have a slider about a year old...his name is Spike (a very common name I have found!)
He likes to play "peek-a-boo." If I put something (my finger, a toy, my nose) against the glass of his tank, he comes over and puts his front feet over his eyes and they sort of vibrate......very cute. Does anyone else's turtle do this? My only explanation is that he is doing some mating thing? Not sure....anyway, this is an awesome site (its great to know that Spike is pretty normal in turtle terms....) Talk to ya soon!
