Well the internet is just a wonderful place. If it wasn't so great well we won't be here and I wouldn't have brought any RES's. Ok, then I have been raising or maybe I should say providing housing for tropical fish for years..... after the dog died I swore I was not getting another pet that needed to be walked in the rain or snow till I retire ... I tried fish, should have probably just gone fishing and called it a day. I have six tanks well really seven if you count the one in the office and the RES tank. All my tanks are planted and growing including the RES tank. I have more fish/turtle food/med's/conditioners on hand then Pet Land and buy in bulk online ..... ever see a 5 gal bucket of Tetramin Flakes. I spend more in electric for the tanks then my apt. neighbors do on their whole bill. I'm a great believe in filters and water changes. I run Fuval filters on all, with whole house water filters down stream of the Fuvals. Water changes every week- 25%, filters and carbon once a month ..... yep besides electric I use more water then my neighbor. I have all the tanks hooked up to electric water solenoid valves, drain pump, and fresh water supply. So instead of spending 6 hours on a weekend pumping and cleaning tanks I flip a switch and I'm done in 2 hours. Anyhow forgot, so yea I have three RES now started around last August. I must say their better then fish to watch and I love that begging routine they do. I'm using the same care procedures as the fish for the RES, so far it's working. The RES's have no names yet, they do have leader though, where ever the oldest one goes the other two follow, it's like follow the leader .... sometimes if the first stops short the others pile up. I also have three frogs in the tank, 2 african claw and one Albino frog. :D I had three Albino frogs all bigger then the RES but two died, and well one had a piece missing. I think the RES's thought the frog was a Krill I was feeding them... same color. I also have a 5 gal tank I raise snail's, guppies, and duck weed in for the RES's. Well I better stop now before you think I'm some kind of nut job. Talk to you soon, Tom

Welcome to the site, quite an aquatic collection you've started there!
Take a look around the site, there's a lot of good info on habitat and diet etc to keep your turtles happy and healthy.
Also, turtles will eat anything that you add to the tank eventually so you may want to remove the last frogs before they meet similarly poor fates to the others.
