Hi all :)

I've been following up the forum and site for a long time, and i think it's time to say hello now. The site and forum are full of very useful informations about RES, even we're making translations from here by citing refereneces to the site. Therefore, this's a very popular site in Turkey, too. :)

For 9 months, I've a very cute, cheerful, 4 inch-length RES. He's a boy (recently we've learned with a great surprise) and named Melek, which means Angel in English.

I'd love to share some pics of him. Is it possible to add the video of Melek to gallery section?

With love,

Pinar

Thanks all for the warm welcome :D

A few words about myself.. I'm a graduate developmental psychology student, trying to write my MA thesis nowadays. I'm interested in theory of evolution (particularly altruism, reciprocity, reputation triad), cognitive development in young children and game theory. My boyfriend and me are living together and we'r looking after our little baby turtle, trying to do our best to be good parents :D We've learned much from you, thank you for this great site.

I'll post the link of video of Melek as soon as possible. Actually, it's not a video but collection of some photos arranged to reflect an ordinary day of our sweety, I'm really very excited to hear your comments :)

Dear Blue Flamingo, Istanbul is really an exotic and cosmopolite city, full of history and culture, you'll be welcomed whenever you'd like to visit, I'm sure you'll enjoy much :)

Thanks all, best wishes for you and your sweet turtles :D

Greetings and welcome to the forum. My sister is a world traveler, and has visited most of the great cities in the world, and she says the two most beautiful are Paris and Istanbul.

I can't wait to see little Melek. He sounds like a cutie!
