Hey, I'm new here obviously. I have two REDs, both four years of age. They're my first REDs I've had. They're really fun, and I'm just glad they're still alive, haha. I know now I shouldn't listen to what the people at the store say. If I had, my turtles would probably end up dying. They had said, feed them once a week, and I whole bunch of crazy stuff. I had them cramp in 20 gallon tank, I thought it was too small, but they said it was alright. Finally I realize they were full of [----], found this site and pimping out my REDs life. I just got them a brand new, tank too. Hopefully, soon, when it warms up, I can get them in and take some pictures for all of you.
And don't worry. I'll probably be here a lot because I love to ask questions and see other people's animals. I hope I enjoy my stay.
What are your turtles names? It's so fun to upgrade tanks for the turtles and see how happy they are! What size did you get?
